Need Report - count all documents where the attribute has a certain value

Hi,

i need an report to count all documents, which have a certain value in an attribute!

With ?func=attributes.dump i know the DefId of the category is 8295907!

The attributs are:

Attribut		Typ	AttrID
Formular		10013	2
Land		10013	3

Now i need to count all documents for each "Land" where "Formular=****"!

You could do something like the following

select count(DISTINCT ID) from LLAttrData where defID=8295907 and AttrID=2 and ValStr='<Contents of Formular>'

This will return the count of DataID's that have the value you specify in the one category.

Thank you very much for your help.

I only needed documents and a statistic for each year, so my statement looks like:

select ValStr, count(AttrId), EXTRACT(YEAR from CreateDate) from DTREE, LLAttrData where DataID=ID and defID=8295907 and subtype=144 group by ValStr, EXTRACT(YEAR from CreateDate) ORDER BY ValStr

I only wonder why i get with the search form 559 hits and with the select statement 564. But i think with the select i also have deleted files?

because the Category defines two attributes, with ID 2 and 3.

Kategorie:	Dauerbetreuungen
DefID:	8295907

Attribut		Typ	AttrID
Formular		10013	2
Land		10013	3

But i need a count on which ID 2 has ID 3 and so on.

For Example:
ID2 ID3
A 1
A 2
A 2
B 1

has result A-1 => 1, A-2 => 2, B-1 => 1

I don't find the connection between two attributes in a category!

You need a count where ID 2 has ID 3. I don’t understand that. It looks like you need the value of two attributes to determine a separate condition.

It helps to know the Attributes in the Category. Attached are a couple of LRs in ORACLE. One lists the Categories, the other is a SubLiveReport that lists the details of the select Category. They’re simple, but you should be able to convert them to SQL or what ever you’re using.

ATTRID relates to a specific Attribute of the given Category. Attrtype defines the type of Attribute:

-7 – Date

-4 – Real

1 – String/Text

2 – Integer (can be a DataID, User ID, ObjID, or just a number)

5 – Flag (Boolean)

10 – String Popup

11 – String Multiline

12 – Integer Popup

13 – Data Popup

14 – User Field

20 – Real Popup

101 – Group ID

305 – Item Ref.

There are others that can come in from a module, but these are typical and most. If you look in the DB table, you’ll see a “-18” Attrid and that’s reserved for basically the “name” of the Category.

The “Distinct” modifier is used to separate all the possible versions that may exist for a DataID or a DefID.

To compare two Attributes, I’d define them separately.

Llattrdata lla2, llattradata lla3

And then specify pieces that make them up. I always use a separate line(join) for each one I have to break down like that:

Join llattrdata lla2 on lla2.attrid = 2 and <other qualifications>

Join llattrdata lla3 on lla3.attrid = 3 and <other qualifications>

It helps me to separate and identify the qualifications for each much easier. Using “Join” forces a “found” condition. If it doesn’t exist, the select stops there for the previous qualification.

Have you considered simply using Content Server search?

The search filters on the left of the results page will tell you counts by year.

You can use the filters to restrict the data set by type (Documents only) as well.
