IsEnabled WebNodeCmd in Enterprise Connect

All,

I've overridden the IsEnabled for the Rename WebNodeCMD and have the it appearing or not appearing in the Web UI as appropriate, but for some reason EC always shows the menu item, is there a separate IsEnabled for the EC UI as I'd expected it to obey the result of the Rename WebNodeCMD's IsEnabled function ?

after a little more digging, I think I have it, the GetActionParamsJSON function in NGD::NGDRoot:NGDUICommand:Rename gets called for each node when the container is listed rather than when the function menu is called, its isEnabled check is a simple isEnabled = ( ($PModify & node.Permissions) == $PModify ), did a quick test and set it to false and it disappears, think I'll have to patch the function and add in my checks, would be nice if it called the node's IsEnabled method, especially as Rename is a common command, as thats what OT tell us to amend.

I also looked into this this weekend.

When you have a single function to check the patch at that level is ok. Otherwise I think it is better to wrap$ngd.Utils.GetItemsActionParamsJSONand change the return value.

Thanks for the review Hans, was expecting the menu to be built when requested, like the CS Web Function menu, not provided when the folder is listed which is likely to result in a larger initial block - on folder view - with a lot of redundant data, but will have less later calls for each menu.

I'll have a close look at your other location for the override and see which works best.
