How to get a display name of search region(for example, OTCreatedByName => Created By) via CWS Webse

Hi 

I'm using CWS 10.5 to implement a searching feature via search service.

With the function GetFieldInfo(), I can get fieldInfo for regions.

But fieldInfo include name only.It doesn't include display name of region.

Is there any way to get a display name of region(fieldinfo)?

If it’s not too late I would strongly recommend not using the search service.

 

Search XML API is much better and actually works properly.  The region’s display name is a property of the XML element returned, i.e. <OTCreatedBy DisplayName="Created By">. REST API is an option on CS16, too.
