Unable to apply new OOB perspective

Hello Experts,

I am experiencing issue to apply newly created perspectives using OOB features. Whenever I create new  perspective and save it. It doesnt come in effect for specificed rule.

As I am building demo environment I created few perspetives and deleted from UI. Does it cause any problem as I can see entries for them exists in DB table, ACTIVEVIEWSTATS, ACTIVEVIEWOVERRIDES.

Any insight on this will be helpful.

Hi Prasad,

Do you have multiple perspectives applied to the same container node or landing page?  Do the perspective nodes appear in the Perspective Volume?

If you go to the Perspectives properties tab of a container node, you can see all the perspectives that apply to that node.  This might provide some info as to if there's another Perspective taking precedent from your new ones.  

The perspective rules are evaluated from top to bottom, so if there's a perspective in the list above if where the rules evaluate to true, then that perspective will be applied first.

If you're still having issues, it might be worth logging a support ticket so we can get more info like database types, logs, etc.
