Smart UI SDK Integraion Sample - FolderBrowser

I am trying to run the integration sample folderBrowser in test mode - i am assuming that in this mode i do not need any connection to content server and that mock data from the sample can be use. However I get a login screen and try and authenticate with Admin / livelink (password) but keep getting the message:

"You have entered an invalid user name or password. Please try again."

URL being used on my local machine that does not have CS on it http://localhost:7777/lib/src/csui/integration/folderbrowser/test/

Most code samples use mocked data to simulate the real CS connection. However, the FolderBrowserWidget sample does not. If you have a look at the console, you will see, that it tries to connect to "murdock.opentext.com". If you want to test this example, you will need to edit the file ".../test/index.html" and change the connection parameters to your server. The mock ".../test/folderbrowser.mock.data.js", which is used for the unit test, is far from being complete for general browsing on a test page.

Thanks ... yes i found that out and have got the widget to work - it authenticates with Content Server and displays the folder list..

However I have another proble .. the widget does not resize well. When i launch it in a browser that is mazimized only one row of documents display.. If i make the screen smaller then only up to 4 documents display..

What setting controls this behaviour?

If I want to use FolderBrowser in my own project. Can I refer to the one deployed on my CS ?
In other words, if I want to dsiplay only the folderbrowser on my own application, is the use of the src inside the CSUI-SDK is the only way to do that correctly ?

@trevbee, you have to set height to the widget placeholder element. The widget will use the full width and height of that element.

@Ahmed Chaabane, you have to use FolderBrowserWidget from the CS deployment. CS UI SDK is there for development and reference. It is not meant to be deployed in a productive environment.

When you place the widget on your application page, the and URLs point to the CS, that the users are supposed to use in that application. The "Getting Started" article in the SDK documentation demonstrates the usage.

I tried that and it worked fine but it makes some delay to load all files !
What can I do ?

I am afraid that you cannot do much about the speed of loading of the widgets.

Try to keep to these rules:

Populate the browser cache. Use the Expires header with a time like 10 years, as it is the best practice on the web.
Do not design for reloading of the page. FolderBrowserWidget loads almost the whole Smart UI. It is expensive and you should not repeat it. If you navigate among business objects on the page, reuse the widget by makingn it enter other workspace, instead of re-creating it or even reloading the page or iframe.
