report for new users created by month

Robert James

Hi all,

I'm needing a report to show the number of new users being created by month.  I'd like to go back as far as January 2017, but if I can go further back, its a bonus.  Can someone please assist me constructing that query?

Thanks

You can actually do this in many different ways,in newer  systems OTDS is the software that actually using CWS creates users in Livelink.

However unless something changed every new user whether they like it or not gets a Personal Workspace so you can look for its creation Date

So one can do.

Select * from DTree where SubType=142  /* PWS*/ and CreateDate > 'Your date Condition put properly'

If you do audits of User creation DAuditNew table would also indicate who created whom... but that agin is not fool proof but the Dtree Object is...

Hope that helps if you go to the LR volume in your livelink it will show you examples of the Date thing for SQlserver or Oracle

so many different date based queries are provided by OT to re-use

Hope that helps somewhat.

Well, if I called the wrongnumber, why did you answer the phone?
