REST API for getting original document information for a shortcut

Hello,

I am using the REST API v2/nodes/{id}/nodes to get a list of the documents (sub_type = 144) and shortcuts /alias' (sub_type = 1) in a folder.

Is there any way to get details of the original document for the shortcuts in the same call?

Hi Alex,

Yes, you should be able to use the expand parameter for this. For instance, this parameter in the URL will bring back the original node definition for a shortcut: expand=properties{original_id}. In the v2 API you should then see a field called "original_id_expand" in the node properties.

/api/v2/nodes/12345?expand=properties{original_id}

If you check the Rest API docs this is listed under the parameters section for this call.
