Group creation using Object Importer works in CS10 not in CS16

Hi All,

I am trying to create groups using object importer with attached xml file.

This run/works fine without any error and create groups in CS10 but in CS10 it is not creating any groups (not giving any error as well)

Please suggest.

It is not core OI functionality. Many PS solutions involve extensions to the OI framework. I would check whether in the 10 modules you have more modules with OI code in there.

I agree with Appu, this is not part of core code. We recently developed custom code for CS16 to allow:
+ create a group using OI
+ delete a group using OI
+ update group membership using OI
+ set a new group leader using OI

OI/OE for Transmittals starting 10.5 I think no Transmittal History

OI/OE for Recipients Management(nothing came after 10 this is useful in Transmittals)

OI/OE for CAD

OI/OE for Category Addition/Manipulation(not needed with the new transmport methodology)

What I had to develop in house for my employer(A lot of things John helped me .It was fun learning the framework...

OI/OE for Compound EMail/ Email/Email folder(not needed OT is making it core now using REST I guess)

OI/OE for Audit Events(Soap has methods)
