Custom column in search result

Hi All,

In classic UI, to show custom metadata like category attribute we have "Edit display Option" to show the data. Do we have the equivalent in Smart View?

I have enabled my category attribute in the Search Region. Smart UI Search result page does show the custom attribute for sorting but not for display. Is there any configuration or I need to use the SDK for this

I also have a requirement to show a custom column in the Smart UI search results. Is there a solution?

I'm afraid, that Smart UI can show just the fix columns in search results out-of-the-box. Customization of the information shown for a search hit has planned, but currently without timeline.

You could develop your own search results widget and have it displayed instead of the standard one. The team working on the OT EDM product did it, AFAIK, but it is not a small task.

I recommend you not developing this feature on your own and enquiring about its state at your customer support representative.

Smart View in CS 16.2.10 (to be released in September) will show the display regions configured in the default search template.
