Number of Custom Columns Displayed in NodeTable Browse

By removing the Size and Modified columns and displaying on a high resolution/extra large monitor, only four custom columns display. While the remaining custom columns appear when expanding a row, it is desired to have all the columns appear from left to right as in the Classic UI. Is it possible to show more columns or is the limit related to the responsive grid limitations from its origins in Bootstrap?

I am afraid, that you cannot configure this in standard widgets, like the NodesTable widget. If you write your custom widget using the TableView control, you can make it use different width factors to get more columns visible.

The maximum column count is hard-coded to ten. Columns are also the selection checkbox, the favorite start and commenting bubble. If you count the fixed columns with them - Type, Name, Size and Modified - you end up with seven columns. Only three columns remain for you to choose from in the current design.

The Name column uses a rather high stretching factor, which makes the column very wide. The reason for that is giving enough space for the inline action bar (toolbar on hover). This contributes to the fact, that you will be able to see all three custom columns next to the fixed ones only on extra large screen sizes.

Bootstrap is not used to control the column widths. They are computed by custom code. Actually, "responsive table" in Bootstrap shows the horizontal scrollbar...
