My thinking goes like this,

Groups can be created only by users who has CCMU (user focussed)/CCMG(group focussed) or UA (full user admin) in their login Privs.So if you take a dump of all active users and look at their privilege bitmasks(plenty of examples in LR to find if a Privilege is there)

this should give you the users who can create groups in your livelink.Further the KUAF row should show you in the column OwnerID the person who created the group.

Date is a pretty not straight forward proposition.If say for e.g you were auditing 'Members Changed' or 'Membership Changed' they are different that would happen if the Group in question had people or groups added.You should be able to look at the semantic definition of what those two audit events stand for in online help.

Members Changed33A user or group was added to, or removed from, a group. (The audit message is from the point of view of the user or group that was added or removed. For example, User1 was removed from GroupA.)Membership Changed30A user or group was added to, or removed from, a group. (The audit message is from the point of view of the group that was added to or removed from. For example, GroupA had User1 removed.)

There is also a well known way of knowing when a user was created because each user creation gives that user a PWS so you can pretty much get it from dtree of subtype=142.

Oh yes.

Here’s the guts of an Oracle LR that will report all changes to a Group.

The basic approach starts with DAUDITNEW. The GroupID must be in the “UserID” field with an AuditID of ‘1’. The PerformerID will be the Creator. The LR pulls everything related to Group maintenance: Create(1), Delete(2), Changed(10), Members changed(30).

I’ve used it quite bit at times. If a group gets badly mangled through poor training, you can use this to set it back.
