Custom Widget Title missing

Dear Support,

I had created a widget and a custom module long back in one cs16 environment it was working fine. If i deploy the same csui custom module the widget is displayed in the perspective manager at left hand side but when i expand the widget it is saying title is missing. Does any one face this issue?

What is the root cause of this issue?

This widget is working fine in the other environment. When i deploy to completely new environment it is saying title missing.

Please advise. Your help much appreciated.

What do you mean by "widget it is saying title is missing"? Do you see an error message box? Do you see that text instead of the expected widget title?

If you have the widget title and dexcription in the manifest as localizable texts, don't forget including the localization module as a separately loadable module in your bundle index, together with the manifest and the main widget view. For example:

  'csui/widgets/nodestable/nodestable.view',  'json!csui/widgets/nodestable/nodestable.manifest.json',  'i18n!csui/widgets/nodestable/impl/nls/nodestable.manifest',

In the left hand side where widget is displayed it is showing title missing as attached and my module is also attached.

Please, build the Smart UI extension for your project using "grunt" as documented. The /support directory in your module is supposed to contain the build output of the JavaScript project from "out-release". Not a mixture of sources and hand-edited (!) build output.

You published your widget to be available in Perspectuive Manager in "ltasks-extensions.json" by adding "ltasks/widgets/hello" to "csui/models/widget/widget.collection". If the widget title is not displayed there, the widget manifest or its dependent module was not found. Make sure, that you expose both the widget main view and the manifest in your main bundle index (ltasks-all.js) by including the two following lines there:

  'ltasks/widgets/hello/hello.view',  'json!ltasks/widgets/hello/hello.manifest.json',

If you work with a project generated by the csui-extension Yeoman generator, you can add a new widget by executing "yo csui-extension:widdget". It does everything necessary to create a new widget correctly.
