[Content Web Services] API use for delete assigned group in folder

I want to know about any API in CS to delete assigned group in folder because I saw only api to grant or revoke permission.

Since I create new folder under the parent folder that had many group assigned and i want a few of them to inherit to new folder that I create

I’m not sure what you mean by “assigned groups”.

Hi Nondhakorn,

CWS can accomplish this. Here is the API Reference: https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll/fetch/-15106263/15106294/15106295/17990637/62345549/apiReference.html. Get the NodeRights for the container using DocumentManagement_JAXWS.getNodeRights(). Get the NodeRights array for ACLRights (getACLRights()) which contains all users and groups with Assigned Access. Just remove the element from the ACLRights array that corresponds to the user or group you want to remove. The RightID member of the NodeRight will correspond to the ID of user or group. You can find this by querying the KUAF table of the database or through the WebUI Users & Groups page. Use DocumentManagement_JAXWS.setNodeRights() to update the permissions on the container with your modified NodeRights.
