is it possible to find out what Category an object has been assigned?

Hello Team, is there way I can find out category name associated with the Document(sub type 144) whose object ID is known using LAPI. We are still in 9.7.1 and need to find out if there is a way.

First you see if you can get here

If possible download the LAPI Docs as since it is in deprecated state perhaps its use could be killed

Then try this ListObjectCategoryIDs

If you now look at the returned ID's you can get it from LAPI trying to get an object handle to that or just run some utility thing

select name from DTree where DATAID in <return value of those list ID> and SubType=131

If you have all categories in your system in memory you may be able to use this in a efficient way... almost like a helper table...
