Losing the package Structure on CSIDE Module Import

Hello Experts

I am using Eclipse Mars 2 with com.opentext.cside_16.2.1.570.

Whenever I am importing the OLL in the Oscript Explorer, I am losing the Packages in the imported module.

An idea why is this happening or is this a known issue?

Please let me know if we have a resolution to this.

This should have been resolved, unless you are facing special case. Would you please ensure that you use an updated CSIDE that has the fix any version starting 16.2.3. I would recommend using the latest CSIDE as we constantly address issues like this and add more features.

I just tried it with com.opentext.cside_16.2.4.184.jar (latest version as of 18.4.2018) and it still doesn't work. The .os files are placed in a flat structure, which eventually aborts due to naming conflicts.

What is not working exactly ? Are you working with Raj Mansinka on this post's module or you are talking about something you work on ?

I remember you mentioned before an issue you face with importing and I tried to get more information from you to investigate this issue but you never got back to us. Check your inbox for email from Phil Bickley dated Tuesday, 13 February, 2018 that asks you about the module you face a challenge to import.

What is not working exactly ?

The File > Import... > Source code from OLL in CSIDE continues to create the .os files in a flat structure (i.e., no packages). This hasn't worked for myself or a number of peers for at least a year or two.

I just realised something: Are you still testing this with CS10 ospaces? I ask because it does work correctly with a CS10.5+ ospace.

I have no connection with Raj. I only tested the functionality after reading this thread to see if the problem continues with the latest version of the plugin.

Hi Chris,

Yes, the import fix is tested against 10 and 9.7 olls as well. It looks like you have a module with specific organization the may hit a case that is not handled so that we required if you can share more information with us about this module to see what is going on and fix it. I will resend the email for you again and we take it from there.
