Khaled_Yasser

Hi Everyone,

We need to create a compound document from smart UI, but compound document is not in the add item list in the smart UI.

So how can i add it to the add item menu in the smart UI ??

No actions specific for Compound Document have been added to Smart View yet. Creation, Version History etc. You could file a feature request for it. You need to use Classic View to get all functionality of Compound Documents.

You could add the support for Compound Documents by custom development, but it would be too much work and you would get to conflict with the product solution later.

Pending feature requests in Jira: LPAD-58545 and LPAD-72974

You can open a support ticket and ask support to link it to these feature requests, showing that one more company is interested.

The more companies are interested, the higher the chance it gets realized one day.
