REST API - automated creation of Follow ups/reminders

Is it possible to use the REST API to automate the creation/assignment of follow ups and reminders for documents? Our users store contracts in Content Server and wouuld like to have the Reminders automatically assigned. Unfortunately, OpenText is light on providng any information on Reminders, although I believe I have located the database tables that deal with them.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi Tim – I’ve done a similar logic for contracts' expiration notifications, all inside Content server:

WebReport is scheduled to run daily
Notification logic is checked per each contract (based on expiration date, lead times, etc)
If notification is needed, sub WebReport is triggered. This SWR emails notification to its business owner; output destination is email, you can have variable as email receiver (bus. owner)
