Are there any plans to enable a simple footer when browsing CS16 in Smart UI?
I am not aware of such plans. What would you want to see in the footer?
Hi Ferdinand, thanks for the reply. In the classic UI, we've always had links to related institutes in the footer.
You could supply additional information using widgets.
For example, you can put a tile on user landing pages, which will list institues and regulations, which should be known to everyone. You can use Wiki or TileReport widgets to bring manually editable content there. You can use NodesList widget to show list of links returned by WebReport or LiveReport.
For example, you can create a custom perspective for browsing of any container. Additional information can be put as a sidebar or as a header together with the NodesTable widget.
I admit, that a thin footer with a couple of links would free more space for productive work on the page, but widgets is the only thing, where you can place content now.
