Moving projects (subtype 202) from one folder to another using LAPI, REST, CWS or Connected/business

We currently move projects (subtype 202) to a archive folder when they are retired with LAPI methods. We also change permissions of all the project participants to guest in the projects that are retired. Is there a way in CS 16.X to move projects and change participant permissions available with REST, CWS or with the connected workspace?

Hi Loren,

I remember using the Collaboration webservice in Content Web Services to change project state, its members, their permissions, etc.

I haven't tried moving it, but I think a quick test with DocumentManagement will let you know if you can move the project to another location.

Hi Loren,

To add to Nizar’s point – moveNode in the docman service works just fine on Projects.

The equivalent CS REST mappings should work fine too.

Thanks Alex and Nizar for info about moving projects. My other question was about changing retired project participants permissions from coordinator or member to guest. Is there a way to do that with CWS or REST apis? We currently use LAPI method calls to accomplish this within a 9.7.1 installation. Can this be done within CS16.x since LAPI will not be available?.
