How to delete a group using Content Services Java SDK

Hi guys,

We're using the the content services SDK for Java to do a lot of the content server integration through an external single page web application (calling the services through BPM web services in AppWorks). Everything is going smoothly so far, however I noticed that while the MemberManagement service exposes a CreateGroup method there is no accompanying DeleteGroup method, or really any way to delete a group. I see methods for deleting users, and other items, but only DeleteGroup seems to be missing. I double checked the REST api and the same is true there (creating a group is possible but deleting one is not). Is there a particular reason that deleting a group is not exposed / implemented, and is there an alternative for doing so?

Users and groups don’t really need to be differentiated when deleting.

You can use the DeleteMember method to delete a group, as touched on in my old code sample from the Livelink 9.7.1 days:
