Workflow Form Field in Smart View - No Scrollbar for Tooltip

I am using Smart view to display the form in a workflow.

One of the form field is a free text upto 4000 letters. The tooltip helps us to show partial data, but the entire data inside the form field ins't visible, as there is no scrollbar available for the tooltip.

Is there any configuration via which the scrollbar on the tool tip can be made available? or is there any other way via which the scrollnbar can be made available, so users can see the entire data in that text?

I have attached the screenshot of the tooltip as how its current seen.

No, there are no any abilities to setup tooltip window size or it's scrollability.
We managed to solve it by crearing custom attribute with special button for opening field value in editable pop-up window.

Native browser tooltip is not scrollable. It is not meant to cover extreme cases.

You can click on the arrow on the right side of the textarea to expand it. If you still don't bsee the full content, you can start editing the description and use scrollbars to view its full content. You can also copy it to clipboard, pase to notepad and read it more conveniently there.

You can also file a feature request to support long descriptions better. I believe, that it is possible, bec ause you can resize the textarea or scroll it by a single click in Classic UI.

The requiremnet here is that the free size textfield is readonly on the workflow form.
And it does not even have the scrollbar, and the content in the field is cruical for approval flow. See attached screenshots as how it is seen for read-only fields.

Other approach what I tried was calling a URL(Webreport to open a popup window to show the text content) on click of this text button. This logic works on independent form. But when the form is configured in workflow user step smart view, the javascript onclick event on the text filed does not get triggered, and there are no console errors. Any reasons for thie behaviour?

If above approach is not feasible,reating a custom attribute with special button and showing the content in a pop-up window should be the workaround here(as suggested Tobias). I will need guidance here on the development approach used for this, was it through the Smart View SDK or Oscript. A sample to achieve this be very helpful, if possible? I am on CS 16.2.5.

Also for raising the fetaure request, is there a section on OTKB, where the request can be raised, or does it needs to be done by opening a ticket?
