You cannot use CWS MoveNode() to move a document to a project?

When I attempt to move a document to an empty project using CWS API MoveNode() I get the error:

Exception calling "MoveNode" with "4" argument(s): "Disallow access to move a Document into a Project."

You are allowed to move a document to a project using Content Server's GUI. Is this something that is 'impossible' using CWS or am I missing some alternate method of moving objects to a project?

I have included a PowerShell example of the issue. Assuming you are using PowerShell 4.0 (or higher) and are using an account on a Windows domain, then you can modify the script by entering:

a dataid of a document
a dataid of a project
The URL for web services.

Usually, workspace objects like Projects,Discussions, TaskLists use the negative(DataID) to locate the OwnerID(VolumeID) Does ListNodes with positive Dataid of Project work, if not you can use the

negative(DataID) and see if it works. What Version of Livelink.

Thanks for the quick note. One advantage of PowerShell is that it is easy to update.

If I use the negative value of a project's dataid then the node for the 'project' has a Type of 'GenericNode:201' instead of 'Project'. But using the the negative dataid of the project as the target of the move does allow the MoveNode() call to complete successfully.
