REST API upload with byte array

Dear community,

is ist possible to upload documents into Content Server using REST API with a byte array (byte[]) instead of a path to the physically PDF?
As the customer described it the PDF is included in the byte array.
Is there any converting necessary?

Hello again,

I have additional information from the customer: they are creating reports out of "Jasperreport".
They are holding PDF files in the byte[] (so the array is the PDF) thus they don't need to cache them on a drive.

Does anybody know if this is supported by the OpenText REST API?

The answer is "yes", or better, "irrelevant". It is up to you, or actually up to your library, to supply the file content for the upload. Eventually, the request body has to be of a valid content type, typically "multipart/form-data" for uploading binary files. Decent libraries allow supplying the file content by more than a file path; by byte arrays or streams for example.
