Hi,
May years back I worked in LAPI and Module customization (using builder).
I again want to get in touch with this stuff. What is latest technology being used? Is it web services or something else? From where to start?
Thanks.
Hi Baber,
You can use that Builder knowledge with our Content Server IDE plugin, for Eclipse. OScript development is still very much active.
In terms of APIs, Content Web Services is feature complete, and if you like WCF, you can go ahead and have good fun with it. It's my preferred API for doing automated sorts of things, it's easy to use, and very powerful.
What's up-and-coming, these days, is the REST API, still being improved with new features, all the time.
Depends on your needs, really, but I suggest you bookmark this page, as a start: https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll?func=ll&objId=67790529&objAction=browse&viewType=1
http://developer.opentext.com is also a good place for REST discussions.
Thanks,
Nizar
