Hello

I would like to search the documents that are classified with an specific Classification with API Rest.

I could make a api/v2/search with category metadata but I cannot find how to include in the where section the Classification I want

Thanks in advance

Hi Jorge,

Classifications are represented in the OTClassificationTree search region which you may query with the REST API. The region structure is discussed in this Search and Indexing Forum thread

Hi Steve/Jorge,

I would be interested in the same topic, unfortunately the provided link does not work for me ("The item you requested could not be accessed.")

Do you have an updated link, or an example of such a query?

Thank you,

Hannes

The Search API is an XQuery library that combines searching, search parsing, search grammar, faceting, snippeting, search term completion, and other search application features into a single API. You can interact with the Search API through XQuery, REST, Node.

Thanks for your hints, I first could not figure out the syntax for searching for document which have a certain category. Now it works:

### search for full text and for a category

### studies category has id 2147812

POST https://Servername/OTCS/cs.exe/api/v2/search HTTP/1.1

OTDSTicket: {{ticket}}

Cache-Control: no-cache

where=* and OTDCategory:2147812
