I've installed ELS 16.2, but I cant create any application in admin client, the elib log shows unexpected error, thanks for help!
I'd be curious what if/any errors are showing in the content server thread logs. But generally errors like this can be linked to patching. If you run cluster management/system center, are there any missing patches? Also, verify that you have the latest patches for the enterprise library also?

Hi, i solved the same issue by manually creating a Enterprise Library data source in System Object Volume.

NB: i manually created the folder then the application and all was fine. Then I deleted the folder in Sys Obj Volume and the app from Admin Client and retry to create the app (without the folder in sys obj volume). Problem was solved!
