Where is the sample greeting module

Is there a a sample greeting module that contains everything we need to learn: a javascript node extension module, an oscript module that can be installed with new function menu commands and perspective... I'm sure everyone can learn from that sample module.

The sample code from the SDK doesn't have the oscript part and doesn't run like a real CS module, therefore isn't really helpful. Did I missing anything?

Not sure if I'm the only person that has been strugging with Smart UI. I read all documentation, yet still find it hard to get anything done.

Is it possible that OT just creates a sample module that implements a custom node? Such as the Contact module we learnt in the Builder class? I guess it's way easier to follow a real module than the documentation, and easier for OT too.

Yes, having a complete application as an example would be helpful. It means a CS module with REST API and Smart UI implementing a scenario, which would not be overly complicated, but which would introduce as much as extensibility as possible. I am afraid, that I am not aware of any plans to do it. You can file a request at Customer Support about this.

Yes, there are sources of the CS module "Greetings" internally available in OpenText. It was not intended for publishing, because it contains no REST API or OScript code. The Smart UI extension introduces only "hello" examples, which do not depend on the server (REST API). Installing in on the CS would not make much sense, woud it? The examples are usually looked at and then copied or used as an primer to look at, when working on a custom module.

Are you saying, that it is difficult to create a new module, when using he existing documenation, and we should describe it better? Or do you weant to install the Greeting module in particular to inspect in in your CS?
