REST Api and Auth from a Web Report

If I want to make a Rest Api call from a Web Report in Content Server, is there a way to run the request as the user currently logged into Content Server without having to provide the username / password to the Auth Api request?

Can I get the OTCSTicket for the current logged in user of CS some other way?

If someone was in Content Server that means if a person was logged on into CS then the "LLCookie" on the browser can be made to pass as a header. The way this works is when the first request happened an OTDS request was made with your Kerberos and the request was redirected back to livelink. At this point, the browser has the LLCookie burnt. You should be able to go to the URL area of your browser and type javascript:document.cookie and you will see all the cookies the browser has.

This sadly works only in a LL served by OTDS(What I mean is the LL Web server is anonymous) I am not sure you can make this work in a Livelink Auth method because I doubt if it will do that.

Here is a simple WR that creates Folders that works in an SSO OTDS front-ended LL 16.2.6. The functions are easily understood if you know javascript.

This is only one way you can even get a standalone page get an OTDSWS login and make it work but for pages in LL, this probably will work.

Get the 'LLCookie' browser cookie value and put it in the 'otcsticket' header of the REST API request.

This may help you, if you are on 16.x versions. [LL_REPTAG_OTCSTICKET /] tag will give you OTCS ticket which you can use it in your rest api requests. Unfortunately this is not documented.
