Ability to prevent the ability to Add a new Version to a Finalised Record

Hello,

I've been reading a few documents and asking my onsite Content Server 16.2. oh knowledgeable ones ... and we cannot find if there is a out of the box configuration setting or a "customisation" that can prevent the ability of adding new versions to any finalize record.

Fingers crossed that knows a way to remedy my problem.

When you finalizes a record, the ACL are set to read only (See + See and See Content) for existing groups. The RM groups is added with more permissions.

If your setting are correct, the members of the existing groups present in the ACL cannot add a new version.

You should check if your user is not in the RM group or a System Admin.

ACL permissions being downgraded during a Finalize Record action is dependent on system configuration. Navigate to Content Server Administration\Records Management Administration\Managed Objects. Permissions will be downgraded if the corresponding "Downgrade Permissions" checkbox is checked for a given sub-type.
