3rd party patches via system center

Does anyone know if it's possible to deploy 3rd party patches via System Center.

Once installed manually on the Content Server server(s), these patches are reported as unknown in System Center, but I would like to distribute these patches via System Center as well. I tried to zip it like the standard OT patches, and upload them manually but this results in a Failed unknown File error.

System Center currently does not manage 3rd party patches. It will classify them as unknown because it doesn't have any information of what they are or where they came from.

Understand, also because it's probably using the manifest as a reference.

But would be nice if we could extend this manifest with for example 3rd party manifests which also are providing add-on modules.

Or at least a way to distribute these patches over systems like other patches.

No answer yet? It's pretty much a giant show stopper for any customer of third party software. At least give the customer an option to ignore the unknown patches.
