Workflows step - Shortcut to document in SmartView not Editable

Hi,

We have a workflow where we are using SmartView in Workflow steps.

Workflow is Initiated by clicking on Functions menu 'Initiate Document Workflow' but when a user receives this step there is no option that user can click on this shortcut and Edit the document. It forces to Download document only..

Any solution for that please?

Hi,

did you check what permissions the user has on the attachments folder in the workflow map? I think the user needs edit permissions for the attachments folder (which is then inherited to the documents) otherwise the "Edit" button will not show up.
In addition it should be a mime type which is editable (no pdf etc.)
