DAuditNew Table, EventID sequential?

Hi all,

I've noticed a puzzling behavior in the dauditnew table that I don't think is intentional.

I was under the impression that the eventid were sequential, and that the highest id should be the latest action, however this is not the case as seen in the screenshot.

Ordering by auditdate crashes a LiveReport which I believe is expected behavior and why eventid is necessary.

In general EventID is but it will depend upon the version / update that you are at and which specific table that you are looking in. In polder versions the EventID in DAuditNew was a sequence or identity. In recent updates the tables and structure has changed for performance reasons and not all the tables use an identity or sequence.
