Start workflow using WebReport and External Conversion Engine to attach report output as PDF

Hello

I'm facing issue when I try to attach result of my WebReport to workflow with Use External Conversion Engine option enabled. Workflow starting successfully and report exporting into Input directory and convert to PDF successfully to. After several second PDF deletes from Output directory, but In workflow attachment folder don't appearing.

PDF conversion works correctly when I setup destination of WebReport to Content Server folder. After several second pdf successfully appearing in specific folder.

Is it possible to start workflow from webreport with attachment of the results converting to pdf through External Convertion Engine?

At a glance, it appears that the conversion engine feature was never "wired in". Although I was on the development team at the time, I can't remember if there was a good reason for this or if we just never got round to adding it. Probably it didn't seem appropriate to Workflow as a destination at the time (and maybe we didn't support adding an attachment). Either way it won't work.
You might be able to do something like dumping the document into a server folder and then using a trigger to initiate the Workflow.

Thanks, for reply, @Greg Petti. Can you tell me where should I looking to for converting doc/html during workflow execution? I need to convert documents during workflow execution, it is not necessary to do it from the beginning I can do it during execution. In this scenario External Conversion Engine could be used?

When you put webreport step to workflow, you can set destination to Workflow Attachment folder using repatag [LL_REPTAG_&WORKID WFINFO:ATTACHFOLDER /]. And if you use External Conversion Engine it works fine. There are some delay to convert file, but eventually in workflow attachment folder will be pdf.
