Cookies in HTML WebReport

Goodnight:

I am using cookies to pass information from one webreport to another, and everything works perfectly.

The problem is when I want to run the webreport in smartview as HTML Webreport. In this situation everything I run using LL_REPTAG_HTTPCOOKIE stops working

I can't understand why. Anyone have light for this?

when you say stops working, do you mean the whole report or just the specific HTTPCookie parts ? are you sure that the HTTPCookie value is available via the SmartUI/WR solution - it may be coming through as null or undefined rather than the value you expect.

In general classic WebReports are often not directly transferrable to the Smart View because the entire architecture has changed. The Smart View makes server calls via the Rest API to get data but has client-side routing for moving between urls. To make server calls using Rest in a WebReport you can get an OTCSTicket to pass in using the [LL_REPTAG_OTCSTICKET /] tag.

You will not be able to use cookies in WebReports displayed by Smart View. The content of WebReports is retrieved using CS REST API, which strips all cookies (both before and after the request processing) for security reasons.

You will need to find some other way how to communicate among the web reports. If it is enough in the browser, you could use one of the web storages from JavaScript.
