Hi karen,
I'm looking for https://developer.opentext.com/webaccess/#url=/awd/resources/articles/17814739/developer+guide+opentext+exstream+api+v1&tab=501.
Can you help me locate it?
@Servicedesk TCF , of course. I'll track that down and share a link.
I'm still working on this for you @Servicedesk TCF , thanks for your patience.
Hi Karen are you still working on this? I'm not happy that I cannot find this documentation. When I look in forums there are some links to this document but they are all dead now. So please can you do some magic and find this document?
My original outreach (Dec,15) was sent to the incorrect person. I have since sent a note to the correct team and another follow-up this morning. My apologies for the original error and the delay.
Hi @Karen Weir,
Any updates on this? We too are looking for the Exstream API guide.
Thank you for reaching out. We have Product Management reviewing the documentation for accuracy. @Randy Sparks should be able to provide an update shortly.
The order of doing things sounds a bit strange to me. There was only the swagger documentation, effort was made to make documentation and explain how things work, all of a sudden this is removed and now it's under review for ages.
For a part of Exstream that has so much functionality, documentation from OpenText was really poor or should I say non existent?
Is it possible to post the content of the documentation and remove that when the review is done? Or is there a timeframe when this review will be done?
Agreed @ThijsJanssen , we have clearly made a misstep with the migration and we are working feverishly to correct. Your suggestion to post now, while reviewing, is quite valid and I will work on that right away.
I was actually talking about the orginal post, not what's under review. Most of it if not all was usable already without the review.
?
We have been able to recover the original post from the other forum. We are in a decision process of how to treat it in new documentation structure. Should not take long and it will reappear. Somewhere.
Thanks to Karen we have the original document back.
It can be reached here: https://developer.opentext.com/resources/documentation/View%20and%20Communicate/a6f2eb530766d8093530de5b1af516c3/page/1
Keep in mind that this document is not as fresh as we would all want it to be. Always look at your current version SWAGGER for API details.
Hi David, Karen,
Thank you for that. I guess you are still working on updating this?
Well, we understand that it should be updated. When remains a question...
Does OpenText see the swagger as enough documentation to go on? Is that the reason why it's not updated with new versions such as other software components?
This seems to be just a question of priorities, not of a principle.
Exstream CE Design API now available on Developer
Hi,
Has the Exstream 16 API been released yet or is there a date when this could be expected?
Regards,
Christofer
@Christofer , have you reviewed this related Knowledge Base article?
https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll/kcs/kbarticle/view/KB13398461
Yes, but that doesnt contain any documentation, just specifies the different options available. To be able to work with the API there need to be some kind of documentation. Previously there was an embryo for an API documentation at developer.opentext.com but that has since been removed, so now there is nothing.
I must have misunderstood then, my apologies. I'll work with Dave Bares to review further.
We have this documentation available today:
