Is there a way to still access this page?
I have seen there is swagger docs, but it is only for 20.x, and i would prefer the above "style"
Thank you,
Hannes
@Karen Weir trying to locate the CS Nodes and REST docs originals that were at REST API, the ones on the new site seem to be a lot less detailed, and I cant find the originals in the folder you mention, any ideas where they ended up ?
does this thread help @Greg Griffiths ?
For those who may come searching later, as of the time of writing:
CS10.5 SDK Documentation -> Content Server REST API v1.0 (2014-06) -> now redirects to 'OpenText AppWorks Developer website update!'
CS16.0 SDK Documentation -> Content Server REST API -> https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=62357375
CS16.2.x SDK Documentation -> Content Server REST API -> https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll/Open/67789539
The API docs to match individual point releases of Content Server do not seem to be available and the above specs can't be downloaded as .json or .yaml packages for use with the various Swagger tooling.
Docs for 20.3 and 20.4 are available via https://developer.opentext.com/apis under 'Store and Manage'. These can be downloaded for offline use however both currently make SwaggerHub very, very unhappy (>1100 errors).
@Karen Weir I had a look there and could not find them in that location, do you have a direct link ?
Thank you @gBr4NgKMCG1228240598909
@Greg Griffiths
I may have misunderstood what you asked for, apologies. The link you referenced earlier is for "Content Server REST API Quick Start Guide" - I have included the link below.
Content Server REST API Quick Start Guide
CSNODE Quick Start Guide
@Karen Weir I was after a direct link to the originals rather than the updated ones in your last post. I followed the earlier link (https://forums.opentext.com/forums/developer/discussion/302126/opentext-appworks-developer-website-update/) and could not find the original content.
Direct orginal links are for the REST API QuickStart Guide (https://developer.opentext.com/webaccess/#url=%2Fawd%2Fresources%2Farticles%2F6102%2Fcontent%2Bserver%2Brest%2Bapi%2B%2Bquick%2Bstart%2Bguide) and CS Node Guide (https://developer.opentext.com/webaccess/#url=%2Fawd%2Fresources%2Farticles%2F1130435%2Fcsnode%2Bquick%2Bstart%2Bguide) as they had more content in them that the ones posted above.
You are looking to access the REST API Quick Start Guide in its previous format that was on the site we just retired?
@Karen Weir thats correct, sorry for the confusion, the old versions had more details in some sections than the new ones
Thanks @Greg Griffiths . I'll get help from the team to do a review/comparison.
I'm also looking for Content Server REST API v1.0 (2014-06). The link redirects to 'OpenText AppWorks Developer website update' as @Kris Boutilier said.
@Takagi_Shiho , please refer to this comment in the thread
@Karen Weir , thanks for your reply.
But I already checked the link you mentioned and "Content Server REST API v1.0 (2014-06)" is pointing to https://developer.opentext.com/webaccess/#url=resources%2Fapis%2Fcontent-server-v1.1&tab=501, which redirects me to AppWorks page.
Am I missing something?
You are not.
The "REST API v1.0 (2014-06)" entry at https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=42329092&objAction=browse&viewType=1 still links to https://developer.opentext.com/webaccess/#url=resources%2Fapis%2Fcontent-server-v1.1&tab=501 which currently generates a redirect to the "OpenText AppWorks Developer website update!" intercept page. The Offline SDK Documentation package doesn't include it either.
I have not been successful in my hunt for a source for the Swagger docs to match each specific point/patch release of Content Server - and the docs that are available are very clear that the implementation of the RESTful interface is considered to be "product version specific" (ie. different versions might contain breaking changes).
I see what you mean now guys, my apologies! I didn't realize that the link resided within the document itself. Let me bring this to Product Management for an update.
Quick update: our PM team is reviewing the gaps in content; I'll post again as soon as I have links to share.
The team has corrected the link within https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=42329092&objAction=browse&viewType=1 - it no longer sends you in a loop. Again, I apologize for missing this earlier.
@Matthew_Pinkney , do you have anything to add that may help participants in this thread?
Thanks Karen.
The Content Server 10.5, 16.0, 16.2 REST API swagger docs are only found on the My Support devzone as Karen has previously linked. They are the latest versions only and there are no previous sets for each update.
The Content Server 2x.y REST API swagger docs are on developer.opentext.com starting with 20.3 and we will be maintaining update specific docs for them.
@Matthew_Pinkney , @Karen Weir , thanks for confirming. No problem. I'll inform our partner and that should be fine.
Thanks a for digging in!
HI all ! I am not happy with this change in other words it is a mess. I have searched now for the old docu but i am still on the search. Where is the page for the Connected Workspaces , where is the RESt API for 16.2.11 ? Please give us back the full information. Before that there have been one landing page.
I guess it was that.
OPENTEXT API`s

All the best and hope to hear from you soon.
Cheers MC
Thanks @Mchoeti ,
For Connected Workspaces, kindly review the guidance posted here from Stefan (our Engineering team):
For Content Server versions prior to 20.x, please refer to this comment:
Quick update. The team devised a method to add links to external APIs - in this case the 'external' link points to the older versions of Content Server REST API in My Support:
Dear Karen!
Awesome, you made my day. Thank you very much. All the best and have a wonderful friday.
Cheers Christian
