Create members using Rest Api

Hello everyone,

So As I mentionned in the title, I am trying to create Opentext groups and users using Opentext Rest API and a groovy code.

The problem is when I try to consume the rest API, it shows me an error message : {"error":"Could not process object, invalid action \u0027create\u0027"} with Response Code : 400. Knowing that when I try to Get / Delete/ Update (PUT) Data it magically works. That means the problem shows up only when I ty the Create (POST) something.

PS: I am using Opentext version 16.2.9

One approach that would work since I cannot understand if the group creation is just for CS is try using the OTDS Api through postman . The OTDS Api has a simple ready to use utility that does a curl .

I would also try hitting the CS endpoint through a postman client and see if you succeed

If that doesn’t yield success I would go to the livelink GUI and create a user group that requires you to hold the User Adminstrator privilege .

All except the otds Api should be consistent in otds you first am creating it in that app and that one has code using CWS that creates the users and groups
