When we try to debug , eclipse is getting prompted at the break point location, but its showing resource does not exist, other codes are able to connect to source code and working in the hierarchy. Attached screen snapshot for reference
Hiya - sorry to see you're having issues. Two questions:
A) is it possible that there's a permissions issue in the csdev_server\ide\temp folder ? This will be inside your eclipse workspace
B) could you tell me which version of CSIDE you're using? We changed a fair bit regarding breakpoints last year.
... if the issue isn't permissions & this issue is seen on recent CSIDE releases: could you send me logs as per https://knowledge.opentext.com/go/KB12497600 (my email is dcarpene@opentext.com )
Thx, Dave
Hello Dave, Thanks for the quick response.
A) The permissions are fine as I can see the files are generated under the temp folder.
B) I am using CSIDE version "com.opentext.cside_20.4.0.v20200826_01723".
Sent the logs to your email address for further analysis.
Thanks, Gowri.
Hello Dave,
I downgraded CSIDE Version to "com.opentext.cside_20.3.0.v20200513_01602" and it worked fine.
As mentioned via email:
I have fixed a very similar issue just last week.
If you could expand the folder #dd000417 under GCI_POWERTOOLS as shown in your screenshot and check the files in it. My guess is it contains a file "Action-Initiate" instead of "Action-initiate".
If that is the case, then we are talking about the same issue and there will be a fix in the next CSIDE update (21.3).
The 20.4 release had indeed a few changes around the handling of those temp files.
The issue may go away, if you adjust the name of that script, for example use all lower-case letters. But I cannot guarantee that this helps in all cases.
Hello Stephan,
Yes renaming the temp file does fix the issue.
I was getting errors like this in CSIDE using the 21.1 version. So far, haven't seen it with the 21.2 release, but early days.
