Could you tell me what document API to call to change a document's status and check off the official box?

I would like to change the document status to closed and check the official box off through document management API, but did not find which methods to call. They are in the document property - record details section as the screenshot displayed.

You will need to look at the Records Management API.OOB when you install Livelink the APIs are part of Oscript(both CWS & REST) but for CWS they need to be exposed separately as you do for Content Server. Nowadays the installer creates the CWS endpoints as a convenience measure. So if you have access to a Livelink server look under <OTHOME>\webservices\dotnet\cs-services-recordsmanagement. Normally people don't expose RM unless developers ask for it :)

You have to expose that in IIS which means just creating an application in IIS like where you source Documentmangement.svc

In my 16 system, I do not see OT deploying SOAP for RM automatically so I am assuming it is like the old days.

If you want to program using REST then this is not needed. If you have never programmed in SOAP before use REST however I do not know if REST has all functionality that RM needs.

I suggest you try simple things with SOAPUI and then mature on to RM :) It will keep you sane :)

I would also try to see if there are WR Tags for this which would mean it would be very easy...
