Using the Perspective Manager, it's very obvious how to add a Tab, but not so much to remove it. Can someone tell me how to delete a tab?
I presume you mean a tab in a Workspace perspective, if so, you can click and drag them out to the top of the page (the black banner):

I get mixed results in CS 21.3 when trying to remove a tab by dragging it to black bar.
It does not work when the edit is started from the link "manage perspectives for this workspace type" in workspace type configuration. The perspective was created from this link.
It works When I navigate to perspective folder and start the edit from there but will be prompted with below warning message.
Perspective Code (subtypes) changed somewhere in CS perhaps some of your objects are the old activeview perspectives .There is a KB about that

You only have to drag it a short distance - (so that it's not done accidentally)
Note that you cannot delete a tab if it is the active (selected) tab
