Facets and Columns REST API

Wondering if you are still looking for an answer .AFAK the DA has an Oscript API but typically creating the objects are a system admin chore . Since OT has said if you need this in REST I would write to them . If it is urgent and cannot wait for OT Code consider writing that as a customization.Definitely the OT Rest API allows you to read the already created objects because without that the SmartUI cannot show the funnel type when it loads.1

The OScript API details can be found at https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=18858498&objAction=browse&viewType=1, but there does not appear to be a REST section there or in developer.opentext.com either, which suggests that there is not a REST API for this so one would need to be developed if you cant wait for OT - check with OT Support for the timeline - or a Partner.

Thank you for your answer,
you wrote that there is not REST API to create Facets and that I can develop on on my own.
I can develop one of my own ?

@Eidelman_Daniel you certainly can, there is a quick start development guide - https://developer.opentext.com/resources/documentation/Store%20and%20Manage/c9a6ccae2d680fd39218145f567715b5/page/1 - and a more formal course - https://www.opentext.com/TrainingRegistry/course/details/2981 - that covers this.
Bear in mind that at some point OT will provide support and you may have to replace your code with theirs with the potential impact on consumer solutions etc.
You can raise a support ticket with OT asking for a timeline on support in the REST API for these aspects.
