New! Exstream Connectors SDK and Documentation Now Available!

A custom connector consists of two parts, the frontend, and the backend:

  • The frontend is only used inside the Communications Orchestrator web application to configure settings when working on the flow context. The definition in the flow context, the flow context item, is called input or output channel. This channel can be used in a flow model for defining the source or target of data.
  • The backend part is used when executing a flow model that uses a channel based on the custom connector.

We now have the following available in Developer, in our Downloads section:

  • Custom Connectors SDK
  • Custom Connectors SDK Cookbook
  • Custom Connectors Limitations
  • Custom Connectors Description Format
