We're excited to announce our new design and improved site experience!

Based on feedback from our Preview, interviews with colleagues at OpenText and our Partners, as well as casual conversation with members; we have redesigned the experience.

Among many performance and consistency improvements, we have introduced:

Information Management Capabilities

On our home page, we improved the layout and more importantly the purpose of our Information Management (IM) Capabilities; these are used to organize the vast development and extension opportunities available to you with OpenText Developer.

Each Capability tile leads you to an improved page experience that outlines more information on what you can accomplish with the the Product APIs and Services in each capability.

Resources organized by Capability for easy discovery

Each IM Capability is presented with a unique color palette. We have built our new experiences based on this collection and color to make it easier to flow throughout the site during your build.

For example, when looking for documentation on the OpenText Product API or Service you need in support of your project, we introduced:

  • A left navigation component that helps you refine the tile listing by each capability.
  • In addition, we improved the lookup functionality (located in the banner) to help you locate the exact doc you need as quickly as possible.
  • We also improved how we present lists of resources; each tile will contain the title, informative description, and color match to the IM Capability that it maps to.

Consistent navigation, flow, and design

Navigating through the new, consistent, design has been dramatically improved with the introduction of simple crumb trails, common tile design for all resources you need to Build, Connect, or Extend.

Each area on the site also includes an informative landing page containing widgets for latest updates, new resources, and forum feeds from the community.

Supporting tools to help your build

We are committed to growing our catalog of Tutorials, Postman Collections, Sample Projects, Documentation, and of course Dev Articles. Our goal is your success.
