using this link to level set my question to the gurus of SmarTUI

In Classic UI of my CS 22 Content Server 21.4, build 16.2.18.1690 I have that command. When I switch to SmartUI I don't see it? Is it configuration controlled ?

@Olaf Schlachter @Hans_Stoop is it in current SmartUI .I don't have ESIGN I can install it provided it will have a smartUI invocation option.

I also find this kind of defeating I cannot take off the "Display Title at Initiation" to have the "Smart View Option".

not sure if the Initiate Document Workflow functionality is available in Smart UI, lets see what the OT guys like @Ferdinand Prantl say in terms of timeline as you may be better waiting or creating your own depending on the response.

If the Initiate Document Workflow button is missing on the toolbar, the action was probably not permitted by the server.

Open the browser developer tools.
Select just one document.
Find the POST .../nodes/actions in the network log, which includes in the request body the "initiatedocumentworkflow" action and the node ID of the selected document.
Check if the response body the includes the "initiatedocumentworkflow" action and a non-empty "wflist" in it.

If you do not find the "initiatedocumentworkflow" in the response, the workflow is probably not enabled for Smart UI.

Thanks @Ferdinand Prantl @Greg Griffiths I tried it on another server I have similarly built on this I see The Start Workflow so the feature is there I am not sure if why it wont show up on my other server
