I was looking for something in the REST API (for my own REST service inside Content Server) that would do like the request handler's BrowserBeGone. lo and behold there is a RESTBeGone() subsystem, except tacked to it, in CSIDE, warnings that this system is going to disappear without warning and be replaced by a job system.
Is anyone at OpenText cleared to comment as to when this new job system is coming in? I've been looking at version 22.1. I need to write a REST service that needs to return a response right away, but continue processing in the background. I am thinking about doing it otherwise in Distributed agents, but fear that it might take too long especially as I've been noticing that the DA framework gets a lot of abuse if you have any facets turned on.
Any recommendations from OT development on this?
