Differences between V1 and V2

Hi all,

I'm fairly new to Content Server, I've been tasked with understanding the implications of updating from v1 to v2 of the OTCS API.

As yet I've struggled to find any documentation on the opentext site for this, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Since no one from OT is attempting I will try to give you a feel

v1 came first there was a few calls and it supported server 10.5 last version onwards

v2 came second and it supports 10.5 all the way to 22 latest and greatest

v1 and v2 has many calls that does things on the server same things but its implementation and efficiency is better .So until OT has found out there is no need to support v1 you will be fine. Since CS is like a very expensive piece of investment in a company no one ventures to upgrade things.V2 reduces network chatter and bandwidth much better than v1.
