Hello! Where I can find any video or article with examples for creating new OScript project? I learn OScript and I use Eclipse IDE. I created new OScript project, but I can't understand where I have to write my OScript code and run it:)
Thanks.
Unfortunately there's not a lot of videos or articles. The best source for information on this is the CSIDE course ( https://www.opentext.com/TrainingRegistry/course/details/2980 )
Can I get free self-study material from this course?
Igor,
Are you a customer, partner, other?
Depending on your relationship with OpenText, you may have access to material on the OpenText Knowledge Center.
Try accessing the following -
https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=79950379&objAction=browse. This link is to the Content Server SDK documentation - whilst it won't teach you OScript, it is a vital resource.
https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=2120340&objAction=browse. This is a set of resources for Content Server developers. Included here is an OLD document "Livelink Module Development Guide". I stress OLD. It predates the CSIDE and instead will refer to "Builder". It may however give you some initial material to go from - but you'll need to "translate" how it is written to the CSIDE tool used now.
https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=2121899&objAction=browse - a guide to extending Content Server (Livelink) workflows. Again old, but has some relevant OScript bits.
If you can't access the above - you'll need to contact your OpenText AE or Partner Manager or relevant point of contact to arrange access.
THERE IS NO FREE MATERIAL available from OpenText. You may come across some blogs that various members of these forums have maintained themselves. Google and see what you find there, understanding that in most cases, their author's are still active in the community but are themselves actively engaged on projects and may or may not be open to taking questions.
Regards,
David
