Service Account for API and password does not expire

When setting up an automated solution for OpenText, it is standard to use a service account in which the password does not expire because humans are not involved in the process. 

Is there information how to set up a service account?

There are two ways this is done usually in organizations

1. You will have your computer added to a domain, hence you should be able to add a domain user. To create a domain user you do the same thing you do in your local computer but if it is AD you will invoke its user creation screen and add the user there. In the password there are many rules so one might be re-use old password or password does not expire. When one sets this account you will come to the OT box and add this user to the Administrator's group of the computer find the OT service and add the user typically in the fashion domain\username or user@domain.
2. I assume windows in *Nix systems UGO is usually done command line but nowadays lots of GUI based programs are there

The re-use password comes into play so for e.g. if the organization is prohibited from using a non expiring password all you do is to write the old password down and re-set it to the old password.The OT app will care less.
