CSIDE not stopping on breakpoints

Hi,

This started with the latest CSIDE plugin, but for some reason, even after several restarts, I'm unable to get breakpoints to be honoured. I even went as far as setting a breakpoint in my own webnode action and added some additional debug there to make sure that was the code path being followed. It was.

Besides constant restarts, does anyone have insight as to why breakpoints would not be respected? In CS 22.2 and earlier, I have had no issue with breakpoints, but this latest release, I've tried breakpoints on the simplest things and they are not working.

Found it!!

I hadn't seen this before in the Run menu item, but somehow this got toggled. I'm wondering if CSIDE 22.3 sets it by default which is why I hadn't seen it before now.

Hi Hugh - CSIDE doesn't touch that setting, so it wasn't us 😉. This setting is also available in the debugger view on the 'breakpoints' tab - maybe you clicked it there?

Having said that: I've found a few oddities regarding break-points which we are now working on, so it's possible that you'll still see oddness. Specific case I see: if you edit & save a WebLingo file while auto-build is enabled: any breakpoints you have in that file will need to be recreated to take effect. Hopefully that one will be fixed in the not too distant future 🙂
