Instruction Sheet (IS). Faxin servers answer incoming telephone calls and start fax reception. If a fax is received, it is processed and a queue item is introduced into the “routerdefault” queue. The queue is serviced by GUI applications where operators prepare an XDDS(Core Process) job based on the instructions on the cover page (hence the term “instruction sheet”) and inject the job into the switch with the remainder of the fax document (i.e. without the cover/instruction sheet).
